Soybean curd (tou fu hua)

Recipe:

Soymilk                        1 Litre

Gypsum Powder          1 + 1/2 teaspoon

Corn Starch                  1 + 1/2 teaspoon

Water                           2 Tablespoon

Sugar Syrup

 

Tools:

Bowl 

Pot 

 

 

Procedures:

  1. Prepare a bowl or a container with lid.

  2. Mix the gypsum powder, corn starch, and water, set it aside.

  3. Heat the soymilk in a medium pot. 

  4. Stir the water mixture in the container again (the powder might separate from the water).

  5. Pour the hot soymilk into the container from high. (You may faster remove the bubbles on top using a spoon before cover it)

  6. Lightly cover the the container for at least 15 minutes.

  7. Serve it when it's hot with sugar syrup. (You may eat with soymilk and sugar syrup)
