Mexican Bun

Recipe:

 

Basic Bread Dough                1 portion

Cake Flour                                     30g

Butter (room temp)                   30g

Icing Sugar                                  30g

Whole egg                                       30g   

Instant coffee powder              5g

Salt                                                  2g

 

* Prepare butter to wrap in each bread dough.

Procedures:

  1. Prepare the bread dough, seperate them into 50g balls. Wrap in a tablespoon of butter in each ball.

  2. Then, brush a thin layer of vegetable oil on them. Set them on a baking tray with parchment paper for second time rises, about an hour.

  3. Preheat the oven 350F.

  4. In a bowl, add in butter, sugar, and salt, then mix until incorporated.

  5. Add in egg by a few times. Mix well.

  6. Sift in cake flour, and then mix well.

  7. Transfer cream to a piping bag with a middle round tip. 

  8. Pipe from center to the edge. Cover the whole bread dough.

  9. Bake for 20 minutes.
