Basic Bao Dough

Recipe:

 

Bread:

Milk                                      1 Cup

Active yeast                        1 tsp

White sugar                        1 tsp

All purpose flour              300g / 2 ½ cups

White sugar                       3 tsp

Salt                                        ¼ tsp

Vegetable Oil                     2 tsp

Procedures:

  1.        Heat the milk in the microwave for 15 seconds     (lukewarm).

  2.        Pour in the yeast and sugar, set aside for 15 minutes.

  3.        Place the all purpose flour, salt, sugar, and oil into     another bowl

  4.        Pour in the milk mixture into the flour mixture.

  5.        Mix it with a folk, until it form a dough.

  6.        Knead it for 3 to 5 minutes.

  7.        Transfer it to another bowl, cover it with a thin layer of oil, then set it aside for at least an hour, wait until it double the size.
